For January of 2021 I’ve been working in a group of seven people from the Doll and Figure production courses of the Figure Modelling Faculty at Osaka Designers College.
First of all we decided to make a new design based on the idea of alice in wonderland. Featuring Alice and the Queen of Hearts. The characters were decided based on some sketches everyone made as sort of brainstorming.
After the concept and designs were decided the team decided the roles of everyone and the schedule of the project. As for me I was in charge of create the designs of the faces of the characters and some emblems and fonts used in the nameplates and the nameplates too.
The work started in december of 2020 and ended just a week before the submission of the works.
We used the bodies and heads of nendoroid dolls, then One member of the team sculpt the hair in ZBrush, other members crafted the clothes using fabric and sewed. Other member sculpt the robotic Steampunk-styled Queen of hearts soldier cards in ZBrush.
I also was in charge of the project Logo and I make a Queen of Hearts Emblem too.
